FIELD: electrochemical devices using solid oxide electrolyte.

SUBSTANCE: proposed electrode-electrolyte couple has porous electrode whose surface is covered with multilayer bismuth oxide based solid electrolyte with doping additives. Proposed method for producing electrode-electrolyte couple includes impregnation of electrode pores with organogel incorporating bismuth oxide particles with doping additives and organic solution of bismuth salts and metals of doping additives, as well as thermal destruction of organic part of organogel resulting in chemical deposition and formation of multilayer solid electrolyte.

EFFECT: reduced cost of bismuth oxide based electrode-electrolyte couple.
