FIELD: production of electric energy by means of direct conversion of chemical energy of gaseous fuel to electric energy with use of solid-oxide fuel elements.
SUBSTANCE: electrode-electrolyte pair includes micro-porous electrode. On surface of said electrode multi-layer solid electrolyte on base of cerium dioxide with stabilizing additives is applied. Method for making electrode-electrolyte pair comprises steps of forming on surface of electrode multi-layer solid electrolyte due to impregnating electrode with organic gel containing nano-particles of cerium dioxide with stabilizing additives and organic solution of organic salts of cerium and metals of stabilizing additives; further destruction of organogel.
EFFECT: production of low-cost electrode-electrolyte pair on base of cerium dioxide.
