FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of forming an electrolyte for a solid-oxide fuel cell on a bearing metal base, fuel cells, fuel cell batteries and use thereof. According to the invention, the method of forming sintered electrolyte involves: a) depositing a green electrolyte based on doped cerium dioxide on an anode layer, wherein the anode layer is deposited on the metal base; b) removal of solvents and organic substances from non-sintered electrolyte; c) compacting of the non-sintered electrolyte to increase the green density of the electrolyte; and d) heating the green body at a temperature increase rate in the temperature range of 800 °C to 1000 °C, lying in range from 5 °C/min to 20 °C/min, to form sintered electrolyte.
EFFECT: technical result is higher density and gas-tightness of electrolyte.
