FIELD: extended spectrum and multiple access systems and networks.

SUBSTANCE: proposed system and method designed for fast detection and synchronization of access transfer so as to eliminate original uncertainty in synchronizing transfers received over access channels in extended-spectrum communication system make use of access probe transferred in steps. First step of access probe preamble is expanded by short pseudonoise pair. Second step of access probe preamble is expanded both by short pseudonoise code pair and by long pseudonoise code. Stepwise transfer of access probe reduces number of hypotheses thereby reducing time required by receiver to detect access probe.

EFFECT: eliminated uncertainty in synchronization.
