FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: there is presented technique of usage of energy received by users' units over orthogonal channels of multiple access in communication system with spread spectrum for setting of synchronization with signal by way of control over intervals of integration of signal amplitudes used in time of setting of such synchronization. Received signals are convoluted and corresponding amplitudes are coherently integrated within intervals which can be divided by lengths of Walsh functions multiplied by coefficients multiple of two used for formation of channels of orthogonal signals. Then noncoherent unions of results of such integration in the course of intervals that begin and terminate on boundaries of Walsh functions are used for determination of when coherent shift in time for convolution of signals was selected. Additional advantages are realized by way of direction of signals which permanently have high energy content, such as signals of pagers, signals of synchronization and signals of channels most frequently assigned for traffic in communication system. EFFECT: additional energy that can be used in time of determination of correctness of selection of synchronization shifts for setting of synchronization with signal without use of any additional hardware turns accessible as result of integration process. 21 cl, 7 dwg
