FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobile instrument panel, namely, to its crossmember unit. Proposed unit has elongated thermoplastic front element of crossmember with great number of channels and energy absorbers. Crossmember unit is furnished also with elongated thermoplastic rear element of crossmember also provided with great number of channels corresponding to channels of crossmember front element. Front element of crossmembers is connected with rear element, thus forming crossmember with great number of channels corresponding to front and rear elements and forming air conditioning channel and at least one channel for heating windshield glass in crossmember. Rear element of crossmember contains also great number of counteracting surfaces combined with great number of energy absorbers and having sizes corresponding to connection with great number of energy absorbers.
EFFECT: enlarged range of technical means.
