SUBSTANCE: method for extraction of all lipid fractions from material of marine and fresh water animals involves placing material in ketone solvent, separation of liquid and solid content, extraction of the first fraction enriched with all lipids from liquid content by evaporation of solvent, placing indicated solid content in organic solvent taken among the group of solvents consisting of alcohol, separation of liquid and solid content, extraction of the second fraction enriched with all lipids by evaporation of solvent from liquid content, extraction of solid content. Above described method is used for isolation of lipid fraction from zooplankton and fish. Extract of krill lipids with the content of carotinoids is 75 mcg/g as measured for astaxanthin or more krill extract and the content of carotinoids is 250 mcg/g as measured for canthaxanthin or more krill extract. The complete lipid fraction free of toxic solvents extracted from marine or fresh water animals. Invention provides elevating yield of lipids in extraction.
