METHOD FOR EXTRACTING MULTIBED DEPOSIT AT LATER STAGE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: oil extractive industry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of force and product wells, pumping of displacing liquid into force well and extraction of bed product through product well. During drilling process upper portion of clays is opened, which are subject to swelling and crumbling. After that drilled portion of well is reinforced by lowering operational column. Then drilling is continued with a chisel of lesser size and fully productive bed is opened by drilling solution at balance and or depression to retain collecting properties of bed. During drilling below lowered operational column gas armored cable testing is performed. On basis of results of testing and of slurry analysis decision is taken about necessity of stopping the drilling or further deepening. If productive bed is rentable, it is extracted by open pit-face with backfilling with coarse-grained sand. After full extraction of bed and performing isolation operations in bed, according to analogical plan the rest of lower beds is opened and extracted by drilling in series. If walls of productive beds are prone to crumbling, they are covered by profiled cover or tail piece made of easily drilled material.

EFFECT: maximum extraction of each bed by one well.
