FIELD: radio engineering; portable amplitude radio direction finders of decameter and meter ranges of wave length for determination of direction (bearing) of signals of several spatially spaced sources (interference) working at close frequencies.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in determination of bearing on radio radiation source by maximum level of signal being received which nay be listened by telephone set and additional selection of this source by its specific features. Radio direction finder includes whip antenna 1 and loop antenna 2 , main reception channels (3,1) and additional reception channels (3,2), subtraction unit 4, low frequency amplifier 5 and telephone set 6. Each reception channel is provided with input circuit 7, high-frequency amplifier 8, frequency converter 9, intermediate frequency amplifier 10 and detector 11.
EFFECT: increased resolving power and enhanced noise immunity at retained small-sized characteristics due to reception of signals by main and additional reception channels.
