FIELD: the invention refers to radio technique and may be used in radio monitoring systems for determination of the position of the ground sources of radio emission in short-wave and microwave diapason.
SUBSTANCE: the mode of determination of the position of the source of radio emission includes reception of radio emission in the central and in no less then two outlaying stations, measuring of the amplitude of received signals, transmission the meanings of amplitude from the outlaying points to the central station , transformation of all measured meanings of amplitude into the function of spatial uncertainty according to whose maximum the position of the source is determined. At that the reception of radio emissions is fulfilled with the aid of identical receivers and antennas, omni directional in horizontal flatness with the same heights of elevation over the surface. According to the invention the central station additionally receives radio signals with the aid of additional antennas and receivers. In accordance with the results of reception in the central station the line of the position of the source of radio emissions is determined and transformation of all measured meanings of amplitude into the function of spatial uncertainty and determination of the position of its maximum is fulfilled on the line of the position of the source of radio emission. The proposed mode allows uniquely determine coordinates as in zones symmetrical relatively to the axle of abscissa, so on the line of continuation of the base. The time for determination of the position of the source reduces in more than 300 times.
EFFECT: provides unique determination of the source at simultaneous reduction of the time of determination of the position.
