FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to battery cells of medium-temperature electrochemical devices for generating electricity, and can be used to create solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The cell contains a supporting electrolyte in the form of a tubular base made of doped lanthanum scandate La1-хSrхScO3-δ with a sintering addition of cobalt oxide or nickel oxide up to 1 wt. %, on which thin functional electrode layers containing a material based on lanthanum scandate are successively applied, while the cathode is made of a composite material of the general formula LaNi1-zFezO3/La1-хSrхSc1-yMeyO3-δ, and the anode is made of a composite material of the general formula Ni/La1-хSrхSc1-yMeyO3-δ where х = 0.05 ÷ 0.15 at. %, y = 0.01 ÷ 0.15 at. %, z = 0.1 ÷ 0.5 at. %, Me - Fe, Co or Ni.
EFFECT: invention consists in simplifying technology of manufacturing a tubular single fuel cell with supporting proton electrolyte, when using which it is possible to obtain electricity by direct conversion of hydrocarbon fuel.
