SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed to generate quasi-complementary turbo-codes in communication system has turbo-coder, interleaver for interleaving characters arriving from turbo-coder at desired speed, and code generator that functions to generate quasi-complementary turbo-codes by decimating and repeating interleaved characters arriving from interleaver. Then device decodes quasi-complementary turbo-codes in communication system. Decoding device has code decoder for generating code characters at coding speed which are transferred through deinterleaving sub-codes of quasi-complementary turbo-codes transferred from transmitter and for soft combination of sub-codes; it also has deinterleaver for deinterleaving characters arriving from code decoder and turbo-coder for decoding deinterleaver output.
EFFECT: provision for including characteristics of turbo-codes in communication system.
