FIELD: electromagnetic induction heating devices.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for heating by means of electromagnetic induction metallic strip 4 moving in preset direction includes at least one winding 2 arranged at least in front of one large outer surface of strip in such a way that to heat it by means of inducing cross magnetic flux. Each winding is connected at least with one magnetic circuit 6. Each magnetic circuit is separated by large number of mutually non-connected magnetic rods 8 arranged in parallel relative to motion direction of strip. Novelty is that magnetic rods may move one towards another or one from another in such a way that to adapt distribution of magnetic flux to special size of strip.
