FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: induction heater comprises essentially a gas-proof casing through which a product passes. The induction heater surrounds the casing from the outside, and alternating current flows through the induction heater to generate a magnetic field which interacts with the product for the induction heating thereof. The gas-proof casing can contain a non-electroconductive material to ensure the magnetic field to pass to make it interacting with the product, and an electromagnetic field shielding material to restrict the areas thereof. Alternatively, the magnetic field is restricted towards the product by a magnetic shunt substituting for the electromagnetic field shielding material or combined therewith. In the other versions of the invention, the non-electroconductive material requires one or more flexible elements to be used, e.g., to compensate thermal expansion of one or more working chambers adjoining the gas-proof casing.
EFFECT: enabled compensation of thermal expansion induced forces of the adjoining chambers.
