MULTI-CYCLONE VACUUM CLEANER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: multi-cyclone vacuum cleaner that may be used for multiple collection of dust particles and allows to increase volume of reservoirs for dust collection in primary cyclone dust collector of box type vacuum cleaner.

SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner includes housing having space for arranging fan and electric motor of fan and open outside space for selective mounting of housing of primary cyclone and reservoir for dust collection; first inlet duct for air communicated with reservoir for dust, for introducing air and foreign particles. In upper portion of reservoir for dust there is first outlet air duct for discharging air primarily separated from foreign particles. Housing of secondary cyclone for air circulation in direction normal relative to axial direction of reservoir for dust is arranged on said reservoir. Second inlet duct for air is communicated with first outlet air duct and with housing of secondary cyclone in order to supply air and foreign particles discharged from first outlet air duct into housing of secondary cyclone. Vacuum cleaner includes second outlet air duct passing through lateral wall of housing of secondary cyclone near second inlet air duct and outlet duct for foreign particles separated from air in housing of secondary cyclone into second reservoir for dust. In variant of invention cyclone type dust collector and filtering device are arranged with possibility of their removal out of housing of vacuum cleaner. Separate dust collection space is formed between air duct of cyclone type dust collector and space for mounting fan.

EFFECT: improved design providing reliable manipulation of operator for removing foreign particles out of dust collector.
