FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, vacuum cleaner using cyclone-type dust catcher.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner has housing, dust receiver mounted within housing, and cyclone casing pivotally attached to vacuum cleaner housing above dust receiver for selective connection to dust receiver or disconnection therefrom by rotating around axis of pivot joint. Dust receiver is positioned for disconnection from vacuum cleaner housing by horizontal displacement relative to it after disconnection of dust receiver from cyclone casing. Cyclone casing is adapted for rotation around axis of pivot joint through angles ranging between 5 deg and 90 deg. First beveled part provided at upper edge of dust receiver is inclined upward in direction of detachment of dust receiver from vacuum cleaner housing, and second beveled part provided on lower edge of cyclone casing is inclined at an angle corresponding to that of first beveled part. According to another version, vacuum cleaner housing has drop cover to which vacuum cleaner housing is attached. Dust receiver is attached to vacuum cleaner housing and may be detached from it by horizontal displacement relative to vacuum cleaner housing after disconnection from cyclone casing and connection to cyclone casing and disconnection from cyclone casing by closing cover and disconnection from cyclone casing by opening said cover.
EFFECT: reduced size of vacuum cleaner and increased volume of dust collector.
