FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus has reservoir with several horizontal plates located at distance relative to one another and drain passages for carrying liquid from one plate to another. Each plate has liquid supply section, bubbling section with hole for introduction of vapor to vapor-and-liquid mixture and liquid outlet hole located at lower end (in way of flow) of bubbling section. Drain passage to which vapor-and-liquid mixture is fed from bubbling section has shut-off device for increase of time of presence of mixture in drain passage. This shut-off device limits outlet hole through which liquid is fed to liquid supply section on next plate. Outlet hole of drain passage is made in form of elongated slot bounded by convex outer edge of shut-off device and convex outer edge of cross section of drain passage. Width of slot in its central line is no more and preferably lesser than in lateral direction, thus making it possible to obtain smooth flow in width of bubbling section.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
