FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass-exchange plates for gas (steam)-fluid systems, intended for absorption, rectification and can be used in chemical, petrochemical and other related industries. Bubble cap plate consists of a base in form of a disc, bubbling caps, made in form of cylindrical or conical shells with slots in their lower part, overflow pipes and hydraulic lock. On caps there are plate-like ribs arranged in horizontal plane, wherein ribs of adjacent caps overlap each other and are located in different planes to form during mutual overlapping labyrinth passages for product being processed in apparatus, and ribs of adjacent caps do not touch surfaces of other caps. Each plate cap has at least one plate rib, made in form of a ring or hexagon, fitted through its central hole on cup cap, wherein diameter of central hole of ring corresponds to outer diameter of cap cup in place of its fixation on cap, and outer diameter of ring does not exceed distance to adjacent contact element of cap plate.
EFFECT: higher intensity of interaction between gas (steam) and liquid due to increase in contact element of length of path of mixture and use a more developed surface of phase contact.
