FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: printer inkpot has memory circuit (memory cell) for establishing contactless coupling. The memory circuit operates in holding mode M2 characterized in that memory access commands do not come from transceiver and in active mode M4 characterized in that memory access is permitted after receiving a memory access command. The memory circuit is transferred into active mode when an identifier belonging to active mode command matches its own identifier on receiving active mode command built-in into cartridge identifier and coming from the transceiver in holding mode M2. Transition to anticonflict mode M3 for checking the identifier takes place on receiving an anticonflict mode transition command issued by the transceiver.
EFFECT: high speed of contactless coupling implementation.
