FIELD: railway transport; rolling stock.
SUBSTANCE: proposed brake shoe of rail rolling stock contains composite polymeric friction member and metal skeleton including member made of deformed steel bar or wire to form three-circuit rod system whose central circuit strengthens central step of shoe, and two side circuits, strengthen side parts of shoe. Invention is aimed at improving operating characteristics of shoe, increasing its service life, reducing metal usage in skeleton owing to increasing flexibility of shoe, preventing tear-out of skeleton at impact loads, increasing vibration strength of shoe and reducing mass of skeleton.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of brake shoes.
