FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed shoe has metal skeleton and polymeric composite friction member. Shoe metal skeleton is made in form of frame of length reduced relative to length of rear part of shoe and reduced length backing coated with polymeric composite by less than 100% but not less than 80% of its area. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of shoe, increased service life owing to reducing possibility of tearing out of backing in process of operation at impact loads. 1 dwg
