FIELD: polymer production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of polyurethane elastomers for use in fabrication of coatings for shafts of high-speed papermaking machines, for calendaring mills of machines in manufacture of magnet tapes, other metallic surface coatings, and in fabrication of various-destination polyurethane products useful in aircraft, automobile, and other industry areas. Invention provides polyurethane composition containing polyfurite urethane prepolymer (74.58-77.75%) and liquid hardener based on 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane and polyoxytetramethylene glycol with molecular weight 1000 at their molar ratio equal to 7:2 (balancing amount), which further contains 0.01 to 0.05% of silica powder.

EFFECT: increased relative elongation at rupture in combination with thixotropy and elevated strength.
