FIELD: polymer production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of polyurethane elastomers for use in fabrication of coatings for shafts of high-speed papermaking machines, for calendaring mills of machines in manufacture of magnet tapes, other metallic surface coatings, and in fabrication of various-destination polyurethane products useful in aircraft, automobile, and other industry areas. Invention provides polyurethane composition containing 76.89-78.77% polyfurite urethane prepolymer obtained from 2 mole of 2,4- and 2,6-tolylenediisocyanate and 1 mole of mixture of polyoxytetramethylene glycol with molecular weight 1000 and oligooxytetramethylene glycol at their molar ratio equal to 7:3, which further contains liquid hardener based on 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane and polyoxytetramethylene glycol with molecular weight 1000 (balancing amount). Polymer is characterized by Shore hardness 91-96 conventional units, tear resistance 83-120 N/mm at 23±2оС, and ultimate stretching strength limit 42.2-45.6 MPa at 23±2оС.

EFFECT: reduced expenses due to use of inexpensive oligooxytetramethylene glycol and improved performance characteristics of product.
