FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to heat-treatable aluminium alloys based on the aluminium-zinc-magnesium system, and can be used for producing high-strength pressed products and welded structures of pedestrian and vehicular bridges operating under load, including in corrosive environments. The aluminium-based alloy contains, wt.%: magnesium 1.3 to 1.7, silicon 0.05 to 0.2, manganese 0.2 to 0.5, copper 0.05 to 0.15, iron 0.05 to 0.25, zinc 4.2 to 4.7, zirconium 0.08 to 0.15, cobalt 0.01 to 0.17, titanium 0.01 to 0.05, one element from a group containing boron, carbon, vanadium 0.001 to 0.05 in total, aluminium and unavoidable impurities the rest.
EFFECT: production of articles from an aluminium alloy with increased mechanical properties, high resistance to layer corrosion and stress-corrosion fracturing.
