FIELD: mechanical engineering; steam turbines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steam intake system of steam turbine cylinder. Proposed column has housing with side bracket made in form of separate part connected to housing by detachable joint. Housing is provided with two diametrically opposite windows through which single-arm lever passes. Said lever rests by one end on axle in side bracket, and is connected by other end with control mechanism. Housing accommodates movable frame with two piston flanges and longitudinal braces arranged opposite to each other at a distance corresponding to width of windows in housing to provide free passing of lever. Middle part of lever acts through ram onto flange of frame which is exposed to spring pressure from other side. Making of side bracket in form of separate part permits change of transmission characteristic of lever by replacement of bracket with change of position of axle under support end of lever.

EFFECT: possibility of changing lever characteristic without replacement of column.
