FIELD: mechanical engineering; steam turbines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steam intake system of steam turbine cylinder. Proposed column contains hollow cylindrical housing with side bracket and two diametrically opposite windows in which movable frame is fitted on longitudinal keys. Frame has upper piston flange and lower flange for connecting valve rod, flanges being interconnected by longitudinal braces. Single-arm lever passes through windows in housing and between longitudinal braces of movable frame. Single-arm lever secured on axle in side bracket of housing is connected by one end with upper flange of movable frame, and by other end, with control mechanism. Pull-back coil spring thrusts against upper flange of movable frame. Said spring rests by its other end against housing cover through plate and bearing device. Such design of column provides free untwisting and twisting of spring at compression and extension owing to bearing device, without appearance of torque on frame leading to wear of key joint.

EFFECT: reduced wear of key joint.
