SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. A three-phase power transformer manufacturing method includes winding the magnetic core frames from amorphous tape. The amorphous tape of required width is made, after which the cores of a magnetic wire are made of the tape by winding on a template of a frame, at the same time, the 1st stage of shaping takes place. Then the frames are annealed and saturated with a bonding compound. A core shall be assembled using prefabricated frames in different sizes in accordance with a predetermined order via a template, which is followed by the 2nd stage of shaping, so that the assembled frames form a semicircle in cross-section. After that the resulting core is saturated for a second time. Then the three cores are assembled into a triangular prism-shaped spatial magnetic core.

EFFECT: invention reduces the amorphous tape waste and decrease the core eddy currents via additional core blending.
