FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: reel units primary windings are made of a rectangular cross-section tube installed on the minor edge, with the inside and outside surfaces insulated. The insulators used between the coils are washers with slots. The primary windings inputs and outputs are serially connected (through threaded bushings and by means of pipelines) to the electric insulation junctions, splitters and the inlet and the outlet nipple flanges. In the model transformer, with cooling liquid flow rate equal to 25 l/h output power amounts to 15.5 kW. With cooling liquid flow rate increased to 29 l/h, effective cooling ensures the transformer power increase up to 24.2 kW.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of heat removal from the magnetic conductor and the windings, ensuring space efficiency and dielectric strength.
