FIELD: digital data transmission and reception in digital broadcasting systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for data transmission in digital broadcasting system includes generation of plurality of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexed subcarriers incorporating data subcarriers and reference subcarriers; modulation of data subcarriers by digital signal which is, essentially, information to be transferred; modulation of reference subcarriers by series of synchronizing bits; and transmission of mentioned orthogonally frequency-division multiplexed subcarriers. Method for data reception in digital broadcasting system includes differential detection of block synchronization word by means of signals received and use of this block synchronization word for coherent detection of mentioned digital signal which is, essentially, information to be transmitted.
EFFECT: enhanced immunity to adjacent channel noise.
