SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for transmitting and receiving radio signals. Method comprises receiving a plurality of information bits representing audio information and / or data, encoding the information bits using complementary low density parity check coding (CLDPC) to produce a composite codeword and a plurality of independently decodable semi-codewords, which are a half-size block code in each sideband, wherein the complementary low density parity check provides the complementary properties of a pair of codewords containing a composite CLDPC codeword, modulating at least one carrier signal with code bits of the semi-codewords and transmitting the carrier signal(s).
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of processing digital information.
