FIELD: radio broadcast engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes following procedures: disposition of broadcast signal in central frequency band of FM radio link; disposition of first plurality of subcarriers in upper side band of FM radio link; disposition of second plurality of subcarriers in lower side band of FM radio link; modulation of groups of first and second pluralities of subcarriers using program material version encoded by complementary perforated convolution code; transmission of broadcast signal, first groups of first and second pluralities of subcarrier. Completely digital alternative of this invention includes central frequency band that may incorporate plurality of subcarriers transferred at power level lower than that of subcarriers in upper and lower side bands. These additional subcarriers can be used to transmit additional data. Transmitters and receivers using this method are given in description of invention.
