FIELD: electrical engineering; electrothermic devices handling active-inductive loads and circuits for their connection to three-phase mains.
SUBSTANCE: proposed induction plant designed for heating measured blanks has three butt-to-butt delta-connected coils with intermediate coil shifted in phase through 180 deg., facing, and capacitor bank for each coil; proposed induction plant incorporates provision for uniform release of specific power throughout entire length of measured blanks being heated due to power dip at joints between adjacent coils, reduction of mutual inductance of coils and impact of phase-to-phase power transfer, reduction of phase shift of currents through adjacent coils of plant by adjusting them to different resonance-tuned modes.
EFFECT: enhanced uniformity of power release throughout blank length, enhanced uniformity of loading supply mains phases.
