SUBSTANCE: invention proposes application of 1-[4-(5-cyanoindol)-3-yl)butyl]-4-(2-carbamoylbenzofuran-5-yl)-piperazine and its physiologically acceptable salts as a medicinal preparation for treatment of anxiety disturbance subtype taken among subtypes of panic disturbance coupled or not coupled with the opened space fear, the opened space fear disease, obsessive-maniacal symptomatic disorders, social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder and/or the general anxiety disturbance. Invention proposes also the application of a pharmaceutical preparation that comprises 1-[4-(5-cyanoindol-3-yl)butyl]-4-(2-carbamoylbenzofuran-5-yl)-piperazine or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts as an active component. Indicated application expands the assortment of medicinal agents used in psychiatry.
