MULTICHAMBER SYRINGE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2237495 C1

FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has piston mechanism having sealed piston rod reservoir with substrate and piston. The piston rod has hydrodynamic device in piston rod reservoir lumen. The hydrodynamic device supporting rod with cork and internal piston making two sealed combinations of variable volume synchronously movable in the piston cylinder. The combinations are manufactured as detachable connection of cork and reservoir outlet orifice and piston-mediated connection of the internal piston and piston cylinder in piston rod reservoir lumen. They allow reciprocating movement of the cork to be carried out along longitudinal axis of the supporting rod or in reservoir outlet orifice projection. The device is also implemented as synchronously movable cork and internal piston separated on the supporting rod enclosing sealed compartment in reservoir lumen containing one of substances, or as movable cork and internal piston connected to each other by means of piston connection unit.

EFFECT: simplified movable mechanism allowing liquid movement in different directions.
