DEVICE OF VACUUM SYRINGE-CONTAINER Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61M5/178

Abstract RU 2750360 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a container with granules for incubation with blood; it can be used in traumatology, orthopedics, neuro-traumatology and neurosurgery for closing a defect in the bone. The object of the invention is the creation of a simplified design that eliminates the use of a filter mesh, reduces the size and increases antimicrobial protection. The device is made in the form of a cylinder made of a transparent material, sealed with a removable cover, having a hole combined with a protrusion channel on the inner surface of the removable cover, which communicates with the cylinder cavity and is sealed with a rubber plug. In the cylinder cavity, there is a piston with a sealing cuff. In the piston, on the side of the non-working surface, a blind cross-shaped recess is made, congruent with a cross-shaped recess in the cylinder bottom and the cross-section of the piston rod. The piston with the piston rod has a detachable connection. A preparation, such as “CollapAn”, crushed coral, etc., is introduced into the cylinder cavity, the mass of which may be different, and a device containing the preparation mass is taken to prepare the filling mass, taking into account the volume of the defect in the bone. For blood collection, a double-sided needle is provided for venous puncture and puncture of the rubber plug in the removable cylinder cover. A vacuum is created in the cylinder cavity for blood collection. The cylinder and piston rod are equipped with finger stops. The device is sterilized together with the preparation in a blister pack and is used once.

EFFECT: positive effect is that 1) the method for preparing the filling mass is simplified; 2) the violation of the principles of asepsis and antiseptics when taking blood, incubating the preparation and introducing it into the bone defect is practically eliminated; 3) additional costs for blister packaging, and an increase in the occupied space during incubation are not required; 4) detachable connection of the piston with the piston rod is provided; 5) the design is simplified by eliminating the use of a filter mesh and reducing the size.
