FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, in particular, extinguishing of fire by gas-aerosol inhibitors generated upon combustion of pyrotechnic compound charges.
SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguisher generator has coaxially mounted casing, pyrotechnic charge fixed in construction gypsum layer, annular reversing heat-exchanger mounted between casing and pyrotechnic charge and defined by two perforated metal enclosures, with inner enclosure being aligned with receiver, igniter and cover with discharge openings. Diaphragm is fixed between casing and cover. Inner enclosure of heat-exchanger is rigidly hung on diaphragm. Receiver is furnished with shielding guide mounted with guaranteed gap. Cover discharge openings are offset relative to diaphragm windows covered with membranes. Fire-extinguisher generator of such construction is adapted for generating aerosol to be directed into volume, in particular, in river or sea ships or vehicles with cyclic vibration and impact loads, in industrial premises with increased concentration of combustion suspension.
EFFECT: increased rigidity, explosion-proof compact construction and wider operational capabilities.
