FIELD: fire fighting, devices generating gas-aerosol inhibitors of burning formed in combustion of special fire- extinguishing pyrotechnic compositions directed to protected volume. SUBSTANCE: aerosol generator has blasting cartridges, igniter and is made in form of rigidly connected coaxial with annular gap cylinders of cooling unit, and body with ablation heat-insulating layer in shell. It has cover with outlet opening and receiver mounted between cooling unit and generator body. Novelty consists in that blasting cartridges are installed in center of cooling unit whose cylinder and shell of ablation heat- insulating layer from gypsum are metallic and perforated. Cover is connected with diaphragm having nozzles, and has ejection windows, and directly fastened to body axially. EFFECT: higher carrying strength of generator, increased fire-extinguishing ability, reduced overall dimensions, weight and expenditures for manufacture with preserved functional reliability and improved ecological cleanness of products of extinguishing mixture. 3 dwg
