FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rigid polyurethane foams regulating energy that exhibit both high degree of regulating of energy and high degree of reducing form. Invention describes rigid polyurethane foam representing product of reaction of one or more di- and/or polyisocyanate with NCO-index from 90 to 130 with polyol composition comprising: a) polyol component with nominal number of functional groups 2.5, not less, and minimal molecular mass 3000 Da, and b) 1-40 wt.-% of total polyol mass, polyol component with nominal number of functional groups from 3.0 to 6.0 and hydroxyl number from 160 to 800. Indicated polyol component comprises 15 wt.-%, not less with respect to total foam mass, of solid polymeric vinyl particles wherein an average ratio of styrene to acrylonitrile is above 1. Rigid polyurethane foam prepared by this method shows density value 30-270 kg/m3, effectiveness in energy absorption in compression 40%, not less 70%, degree of reducing form after compression 80%, not less 80%, and factor effectiveness/reduction, not less 150. The indicated energy-regulating rigid polyurethane foam can be used in articles for applying in passenger compartments in means of transportation, for making saloon articles and car bumpers.
EFFECT: valuable properties of polyurethane foams.
