FIELD: polymers, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for purifying polyguanidine disinfecting agent from parent monomers that is used for disinfection of drinking water, water in bathing and swimming pools, mineral waters and for disinfection in medicine, veterinary and food industry. Method involves reprecipitation of polyguanidine agent from 40% calcium or magnesium chloride aqueous solution for one, two or three stages. The mass ratio of polyguanidine disinfecting agent and calcium chloride = 100:(100-10), the mass ratio of polyguanidine disinfecting agent and magnesium chloride = 100:(25-5). Invention provides significant reducing toxicity of disinfecting agents, to enhance antibacterial activity and to improve technology of purification of the parent monomers.
EFFECT: improved purifying method.
