FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; blast-furnace process.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes monitoring of total pressure differential in furnace and relative rate of screening of coke which is maintained within 0.7-0.8. Relative rate is changed in opposite direction by 0.05 every 5 kPa of pressure variation. When charge delivery system is provided with agglomerate screening, relative rate of screening is maintained within 0.6-0.7 and is regulated depending on change in total pressure differential similarly to regulation of screening rate.
EFFECT: increased output of furnace; reduced consumption of coke.
