FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precipitating nickel from aqueous solution containing nickel sulfate in the form of metal powder appropriate as alloying element for high-quality steel. Invention claims continuous reduction of nickel in one or several autoclaves at 80-180оС and hydrogen pressure 1 to 20 bar.
EFFECT: considerably enhanced precipitation of nickel in equipment having the same dimensions as in conventional processes.
