FIELD: reinforcement of rubberized technical products.

SUBSTANCE: metal cord has at least one central yarn including core and at least one upper wire coiled around core and outer coiling wires uniformly coiled around central yarn. Wires of central yarn core are interwoven with one another, with coiling pitch of upper wires of central yarn core being at least 1.1 times as small as that of core. Coiling pitch of outer coiling or metal cord coincides with coiling pitch of central yarn core wires.

EFFECT: increased service life and improved technical characteristics of reinforced product.
