FIELD: mechanical engineering; hydraulic disk brakes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use on vehicle wheels. Proposed disk brake has caliper body, brake drive, pressure and support pads with friction linings, and brake disk secured by screws on jacket designed for fastening of wheel. Support pad is secured on body mounted together with pressure pad on cylindrical guides installed for axial displacement in axial bores of bracket. Cylindrical guides are arranged together with bracket in jacket. Invention provides reduction of labor input at manufacture and operation of replacement of worm out frication elements in service.
EFFECT: improved reliability of brakes, and mass and dimension characteristics.
