FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: detachable flywheel has first inertia mass secured to an internal combustion engine and forming an end face space by their portions wherein a damping device is received and second inertia mass that can be connected and disconnected from the gear box through a clutch. The masses are axially alined and can rotate by a bearing. The surfaces of the first inertia mass, which form a torus, are arranged radially above the outer diameter of the clutch.
