FIELD: analytical instrument industry.

SUBSTANCE: separation unit has housing which receives chromatographic column provided with gas pipelines, heater, temperature gauge connected with the thermoregulation block, and air flow generator. The housing is filled with a solid heat insulator. The furnace is mounted with a spaced relation with respect to the wall of the passage provided in the heat insulator. The furnace receives heater and temperature gauge. The passage is connected with the air flow generator through the first air duct and is in communication with the atmosphere through the second air duct.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption and enhanced accuracy of measurements.
