FIELD: nuclear power engineering; mass-produced nuclear power units and those under design with reactors and turbines having high-pressure heaters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is designed for heat supply from double-circuit nuclear power stations using water-cooled reactors by heating delivery water in line heaters with steam bled-off steam turbines. First alternative method involves feedwater heating simultaneously with heating steam bleed-off by enhancing steam flow in low-pressure cylinder of reactor turbines, partially unloading high-pressure heaters while bypassing part of feedwater and heating it in primary-circuit water heater additionally mounted on coolant cold line. Second alternative method involves feedwater heating simultaneously with heating steam bleed-off by enhancing steam flow in low-pressure cylinders of reactor turbines, partially unloading high-pressure heaters while bypassing part of feedwater and its additional heating in specially assigned section of steam generator disposed on coolant pipelines of primary-circuit abutting against outlet header of steam generator.
EFFECT: ability of compensating for electric power reduction due to heat supply from power plant turbine units.
