FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has a set of microwave radiators-receivers spatially oriented on tissue, coupling medium, control unit for carrying out selective control via subsystem for building channels, encoding unit of which encodes microwave radiation and decodes received signal coming from a set of radiators-receivers. When applying discrete signal identification method relative to aerial grids, decoding is carried out with radiator-receiver emitted the signal being detected. When carrying out spectroscopic examination of microwave tomography type, a set of radiators-receivers is controlled in a way that they emit microwave radiation of multiple-frequency spectrum by means of system for building channels.
