FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to formation of an image of the internal structure of an object using scattered waves from radio waves. Scattered radiation tomography device (100) includes: a radiating antenna element (101) which emits radio waves into an object from outside; receiving antenna element (102), which receives, outside the object, scattered waves from radio waves emitted into the object; and an information processing circuit (103) which forms an image of the internal structure of the object using measurement data displaying scattered waves received by the receiving antenna element (102). Information processing circuit (103): outputs a relational expression using the measurement data, which satisfies the equation, the solution of which is a scattering field function; derives, using a relational expression, an image function which is intended to form an image and includes one or more parameters expressing the correspondence between the change in the frequency of the radio waves and the change in the dielectric constant of the object in accordance with the Debye relaxation; and generates an image using the image function.
EFFECT: high accuracy of image formation.
