SUBSTANCE: slide bearing is made by winding a belt on the rotating mandrel, impregnating the belt with a binder, tensioning the belt due to its braking on the spool, and thermal treatment before and in the solidification of the binder. After the winding of the belt in the process of solidification of the polymeric binder the static tension of the belt is provided due to a lever secured to the mandrel. The value of the static tension of the belt and temperature in the treatment during solidification of the polymeric binder exceeds their values in the winding process.

EFFECT: enhanced service life of bearings.
