FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: sliding bearing manufacturing method consists in winding of a band on a rotating mandrel with saturation of the band with a polymer binding agent with fillers with creation of band tension and maintenance of static tension of the band during curing and heat treatment. Maintenance of static band tension is provided with mechanical fixing elements that are installed by stitching a bearing wall with metal wire so that an internal frame is formed in the form of external and internal stitches connected to each other through cross pieces. After stitching of the bearing walls with metal wire, external surface of bearing together with stitches are wound with several layers of woven band saturated with binding agent based on ethynol varnish with a filler in the form of Lube-Kote so that strong corrosion protection cover of the bearing is created.

EFFECT: increasing durability of fabricated sliding bearings.
